When it comes to DJ’s, there are few and far between that are as well rounded and as highly sought after as Dirty Hands. For those that know Charles Koch, they know that “Dirty Hands” is not just his DJ moniker. This nom de guerre is a true testament to his work ethic and in reality, his philosophy on life. Whatever endeavor Dirty Hands decides to take on, he leaves no stone unturned in his quest for a successful outcome.
While early on in his career, Dirty Hands had paid his dues in DC. Those years of honing his skills have lead to some incredible headlining engagements. In 2003 he had the honor of DJ’ing the Democratic National Convention for Bill Clinton. The obvious dedication to his craft led Dirty Hands to become a mentor at the Red Bull Music Academy. Other notable parties and events Dirty Hands has headlined include an Australian Tour, the Sprite Liquid Tour, NBA All-Star After-Party in New York, Sean John launch at MAGIC Tradeshow in Las Vegas, Vueve Clicquot in the Snow Program in Aspen, as well as the Phillip Lim store opening in Los Angeles.
Using his extensive background in the business as a DJ, Dirty Hands went on to broaden his skill set once again. There had become an undeniable void in DC nightlife and it was a perfect time to add founder, designer, and managing partner to his resume, as he had gone on to open one of DC’s hottest nightclubs, Fly Lounge. An accomplishment he would repeat with Angels Rock Bar in Baltimore, MD and another iteration of Fly Lounge in Aspen, CO.
Dirty Hands dominates any venue and infuses every party with his versatility, and his ability to read crowds, he continues to captivate the entire industry.
